Kathy provides Individual Counseling and Therapy to Adults, Adolescents, and Children in Play Therapy, as well as Marriage and Family Treatment and Counseling Groups

Kathy provides a faith based support fellowship twice monthly.

 

Kathy is a Board Certified Nationally Certified Counselor, she is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor, a Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider. 

 

Education and Experience

Growing up in the heartland in southeast Missouri, Kathy knew as a child she had a passion to help others.  She went to Wesley College, then got a Social Work degree at Mississippi College.  She practiced social work at the Methodist Children's Home and Easter Seal Society.  Kathy then attended the University of North Texas and got a Master of Education in Counseling.  She practiced as a Counselor in Dallas, Duncanville and Grand Prairie, TX.  She developed a Play Therapy Center and was the Clinical Manager for Buckner Children and Family Services.  Kathy served as the Director and Administrator for two rehab facilities.  She served as the Program Director for the Northeast Texas Child Advocacy Center, providing Forensic Interviewing for thousands of children as well as coordination of multidisciplinary teams for multiple counties. For over 30 years she has practiced as a counselor providing therapy for adults, adolescents, play therapy for children, marriage and family services, as well as treatment Groups.

 

Kathy contracts with juvenile probation departments providing therapy to at risk children and families.  She and her husband, Ron, pastor and serve the community.  They love spending time with their four children, daughters "in love" and their precious grandchildren.
